West Ham get Axel Disasi clarity as update shared on Chelsea agreement
West Ham’s late concerns over a deadline-day move for Chelsea’s Axel Disasi have finally been eased.
Nuno Espirito Santo has been keen to land a new centre-back in the final stages of the winter transfer window.
The deadline has now been reached, and there were worries that Disasi’s transfer wouldn’t be completed in time.
However, the Hammers look to have got their man, with a transfer announcement imminent.

Fabrizio Romano delivers a ‘here we go’ for Axel Disasi to West Ham
The centre-back underwent his West Ham medical on Monday before the deadline, but the transfer has yet to be announced, which caused worry.
But as now confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Disasi is in fact set to join the Irons on a season-long loan with both the medical and additional documents now all gone through.
The transfer is just awaiting official confirmation.
The 27-year-old will now come in as a sure starter for Nuno, and will battle for a starting spot with the likes of Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
However, even though Disasi is only staying at the London Stadium until the end of the season, the Hammers are still having to pay Chelsea a fee for the defender.

West Ham to pay Chelsea £1.7m for Disasi
There is no permanent option for West Ham to buy the Frenchman from Chelsea, as the defender reportedly turned down multiple clubs for a switch to East London.
But David Sullivan will have to send £1.7million Chelsea’s way. That’s according to Bobby Vincent on X.
Disasi’s transfer comes as the final piece of West Ham’s busy winter window, and one that supporters will be hoping was a successful one.
Nuno now has a huge responsibility to get his multiple new signings gelling on the field, in an attempt to stay in the Premier League.
