West Ham agree three instalments as Fabricio Bruno payment update emerges from Brazil
West Ham United will pay the transfer fee for Fabricio Bruno in three instalments to Flamengo, according to Mundo Rubro Negro.
Yago Martins has reported for the outlet (23 May) that the Hammers have had a bid of £12.7m accepted for the defender.
The payment of this transfer fee will be paid over three instalments by West Ham over the course of the season.
It has been suggested that Bruno is not a signing “nominated” by new head coach Julen Lopetegui but rather one who has been scouted while playing for Brazil v England.
The Brazilian will move to the London Stadium after Flamengo’s clash against Millinarios at the Maracana on Tuesday (28 May).
West Ham set to land Fabricio Bruno signing
With Lopetegui replacing David Moyes in the dugout for the Hammers, it is going to be a summer with plenty of changes.
It is clear to see that Tim Steidten is taking the reigns when it comes to transfers as a change in tact is clear to see.
Links to the likes of Bruno and Wesley Gassova from Brazil would certainly pose a risk but are the players that the club are looking at right now.
The centre-back could become the Hammers’ first signing under Lopetegui since he was confirmed as head coach [WHUFC.com] on Thursday (23 May).

Although he has never played in a European league, he has pedigree in the Brazilian Serie A which has seen him called up for the national side.
After over 110 appearances for Flamengo over two years with the club, he has now made two international appearances [FotMob].
Bruno could prove to be a useful piece of business by Steidten and Lopetegui this summer.
