West Ham agree personal terms for Nuno Espirito Santo’s first signing in charge
West Ham have reportedly agreed a deal for their first January arrival.
Given the fact that West Ham are in a relegation battle, everyone was well aware of the need for reinforcements to come through the door.
The addition of a striker has been needed for years now, and that will remain a priority, though the Hammers are also looking to bolster their squad elsewhere.
Adding more quality in the wide areas was something identified by Nuno Espirito Santo, and the Hammers have just moved one step closer to sealing that arrival.

Adama Traore on verge of West Ham transfer
If West Ham are to get out of the current predicament, they need more proven Premier League players, not only from an experience perspective, but also a quality one.
Adama Traore was linked with West Ham in December, and given the relationship he has with Nuno from his time at Wolves, it was a deal that made a lot of sense.
Now, it seems as though that deal is close to completion, with a report from TEAMtalk stating that terms have been agreed with Traore.
It’s claimed the Fulham winger will join the Hammers as early as Thursday, which is when the transfer window opens.

However, the report also adds that the arrival of a striker is on the cards, with West Ham having been linked with several potential players.
West Ham keep hitting snags with striker chase
Franculino Dju was linked with West Ham right at the start of December, not long before he suffered an injury that will rule him out until March.
Then stepped forward Haji Wright, for whom Coventry wanted £200million for to sanction his exit mid-season.
Not long after that report emerged, Eddie Nketiah was linked with West Ham, only for the 26-year-old also to have suffered an injury, though the extent of that damage is still unknown.
The longer their search for a new striker goes on, the harder it will be to seal a deal for one, thus increasing their chances of Championship football.
