Sullivan refuses to green-light West Ham signing wanted by Potter
West Ham have reportedly decided on the future of Evan Ferguson.
The Brighton loanee has featured just six times for the Hammers and is yet to notch his first goal for the London Stadium club.
The Republic of Ireland international has been an unused substitute for the last two matches, Premier League clashes with Bournemouth (5 April) and Liverpool (13 April) and it looks very unlikely that the Irons will sign him permanently.

Ferguson set for West Ham exit
There were hopes that Ferguson could get back to top form under Graham Potter, who gave him his first-team opportunity at Brighton.
However, this has not been the case and he has continued to struggle under his former manager and the Hammers look set to look for alternatives in the summer transfer window.
A report from TEAMtalk (15 April) claims that Potter has not convinced the board that it would be worthwhile to sign the 20-year-old and his agents have weighed up moves if the East London club decide to look elsewhere.

West Ham need to find striker solution
The number nine position has haunted the Hammers for a number of years now and they need to get it right in the upcoming window, especially after the failures of Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten last summer.
Ferguson has proved that he is not the answer, he is far too injury-prone and has failed to make the desired impact for the Irons and Niclas Fullkrug has also struggled.

If Potter is to take the Hammers back towards European qualification, he needs a proven goalscorer that can perform on a consistent basis, as his side has only scored 36 goals in the league this season.
That figure is only better than the bottom three and 13th-placed Everton and shows that the East Londoners need to address the position in the market before the new campaign.
It appears that they are trying to do so, given the links to promising strikers such as Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg and Samu Agehowa from Porto that has emerged in recent days.
If they fail to do so, it may be another season of misery for those of a Claret and Blue persuasion and another struggle towards the bottom of the table.
