Roma submit verbal offer to sign Crysencio Summerville as big-money fee emerges
Roma want to sign West Ham star Crysencio Summerville this month, with a big-money offer on the table.
Summerville has been linked with a West Ham exit, and it seems like the Stadio Olimpico outfit have entered the race.
The Dutch ace has notched three goals and four assists so far this season, with three contributions in his last three Premier League matches.
The London Stadium outfit may struggle to keep hold of him, after a new update on his future emerged.

Roma make Summerville approach as transfer latest shared
David Sullivan wants to keep Summerville at West Ham, but he may not be able to, with the level of interest that is circling.
German journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that the Italian side have made a verbal offer for the winger to Irons chiefs, which could reach between £21-26million.
Speaking on Sky Sports on 26 January (16:05 pm), he said: “Keep your eyes open at West Ham, I got news when we started this talk.
“I have heard that Crysencio Summerville has a big opportunity to join a top club in Serie A in Italy.
“I have heard from AS Roma, but we need more confirmation. I have heard there is a kind of verbal offer to the management.
“The club has said, ok, if there is a possibility to sign him, until deadline day, we are ready to spend 25-30million euros.”
Why West Ham cannot afford to lose Summerville
Summerville has been on fire recently, so it would make no sense for the Hammers to let him leave, especially in the middle of a relegation battle.
The supporters would surely riot if they sold one of their most in-form players, as it may basically relegate the E20 outfit, given his is their most potent attacker right now.
| Position | Played | GD | Points |
| 16. Leeds | 23 | -7 | 25 |
| 17. Nottingham Forest | 23 | -11 | 25 |
| 18. West Ham | 23 | -18 | 20 |
| 19. Burnley | 23 | -19 | 15 |
| 20. Wolves | 23 | -28 | 8 |
They are already losing the talismanic Lucas Paqueta, who is set to move back to Brazil, with Flamengo, so they cannot allow the former Leeds man to depart as well before the winter window closes.
It would a catastrophic blow for Nuno Espirito Santo if he lost both players, and would make his task of securing survival even harder than it already is, with the East London club sitting five points away from safety, with just 15 matches left to play.
The money, with the funds that they will recieve for Paqueta, would be nice, but there is a limited time to bring in replacements, and there is no guarantee that any new additions that they could bring in would make the immediate impact that is required.
