Nottingham Forest ready deadline day bid to re-sign Michail Antonio from West Ham United
West Ham face the prospect of losing Michail Antonio on transfer deadline day with a trio of Premier League clubs eyeing up the forward, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper reported via their print edition on Sunday (29 January, page 78) that Everton, Nottingham Forest and Wolves are all “plotting deadline day moves” to sign the “unsettled” 32-year-old.
It is understood that West Ham will put up a fight as Antonio still has a year-and-a-half left on his contract but a “serious offer” could leave the Lononders with a “decision to make”.

Let him go
Antonio hasn’t conducted himself graciously this month.
We’ve lost count of how many podcast appearances he’s made where he’s either cast doubt on his future at the London Stadium or had something negative to say about the club.
He’s lost his spot in David Moyes’ starting line-up for a good reason – he’s not good enough anymore.
Antonio has had a good few seasons in claret and blue.
He’s played a massive role in us staying in the Premier League and qualifying for European football under the leadership of Moyes.

But he’s soon to be 33 years old and it will be dumb to think that the Jamaica international is a solid long-term option up front.
We have way more faith in Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings to find the goals for West Ham going forward.
And while letting Antonio go probably seems like the right thing to do, we have to realise that we’re still in a relegation battle and could be strengthening a rival club.
That’s probably why West Ham aren’t too willing to let him go.
