Niclas Fullkrug could still play for Nuno despite West Ham transfer revelation
Niclas Fullkrug has been told that he can leave West Ham United.
West Ham have given the green light for Fullkrug to leave as early as January, with his agent already in talks with several clubs in Italy and Germany.
Fullkrug has been a disastrous signing at the London Stadium, going down as one of many expensive mistakes by the departed Tim Steidten.
Playing under Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter, the German international has failed to ever get going, with injuries constantly playing their part.
With Nuno Espirito Santo now in charge, he could get one last chance to wear the claret and blue.
Niclas Fullkrug set for West Ham farewell appearances
Nuno appears to be on board with the sale of Fullkrug, given that West Ham have already given their backing ahead of the January window.
The striker will add much-needed funds, whether through a transfer fee or his spare wages.
Despite this, ExWHUemployee has reported that Fullkrug could still be used by Nuno between now and the winter transfer period.
The reliable Hammers’ source has shared that the likes of AC Milan are interested in a move, with his agents hard at work ahead of a possible move.
West Ham must get rid of Niclas Fullkrug
Availability is often a player’s biggest strength in the Premier League, and unfortunately, Fullkrug just isn’t capable of delivering on that.
Nuno already has Callum Wilson firing, with his latest goal against Burnley helping to seal another huge three points in the Premier League relegation fight.
Fullkrug only managed three goals and two assists last season in the Premier League, despite making 18 appearances, six of those being starts.
With the busy Christmas period coming up quickly, Fullkrug will be needed between now and the January transfer window.
Nuno will be pushing for his West Ham squad to be fully fit and firing during the last international break of the year, with every last player needed.
Fullkrug is included in that, but come January, he will be shown the door.
