Nayef Aguerd switches agents as West Ham United summer exit mooted
Nayef Aguerd has switched representatives ahead of a potential West Ham exit this summer it has been confirmed.
Posting on their official Instagram account (25 June), sports agency CanteraSport announced that they have signed the Morocco international to an agreement to represent him going forward.
CanteraSport is also the home of Hammers captain Kurt Zouma, who has also been linked with a move away, as well as Chelsea star Benoit Badiashile and recently released midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Nayef Aguerd to leave West Ham United?
Aguerd was a top target for David Moyes two summers ago and joined the club in a £30million deal, but despite an initially good start he has struggled in the Premier League.
The Moroccan has attracted big attention from Saudi [Dharmesh Sheth, 2 January] during his time at the London Stadium, but most recently a move to Marseille has been mooted [Hakim Zhouri, 11 May].
The belief is that West Ham would be open to his exit for the right price, and with Julen Lopetegui now in charge it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him move on.

Lopetegui has made Max Kilman his priority transfer this summer after the arrival of Luis Guilherme, with offers made and rejected already, and it may be that it’s a one in-one out scenario.
But with new agents Aguerd has made his intentions clear and he is clearly looking for a new home before the start of the 2024/25 season.
In other West Ham news, a clause has emerged as the Hammers want to sign a double-winning forward.
