Nayef Aguerd makes transfer demand to Graham Potter at West Ham United
Nayef Aguerd has already told Graham Potter his plans at West Ham United ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The 29-year-old centre-back joined Real Sociedad on loan last summer, but will return to the Hammers in the coming weeks.
With the addition of Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo at the Irons, it made sense for Aguerd to leave the London Stadium, but it remains to be seen what his future holds.
Potter has struggled to bring the best out of Todibo at the East London club this season, and fans would arguably want to see the Moroccan defender return soon, but that may not be the case.

Potter wants Aguerd to stay, but West Ham transfer wanted
Aguerd has made it clear that he wants to leave the Hammers next summer, according to talkSPORT.
The news outlet reports (13 May) that the Morocco international has no intention of returning to the London Stadium after his loan spell with La Real expires.

It’s been claimed that Potter wants to keep the 29-year-old as the Irons are unable to spend big due to Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) restrictions.
The East London outfit signed the centre-back for £30million from Stade Rennais in 2022 and will want to recoup a bulk of it to sanction his exit.

Potter must convince Aguerd to extend London Stadium stay
In hindsight, Aguerd’s exit from the London Stadium last summer was a bad decision, as the new additions in the backline have struggled.
During a relatively successful spell under David Moyes, the Moroccan star was one of the Hammers’ most important players.
Kilman and Todibo came to the Irons with big reputations, but they haven’t lived up to expectations.
West Ham find themselves 15th in the Premier League, something fans won’t tolerate in the upcoming campaign.
While Potter’s job is seemingly safe for now and he’ll possibly be given the summer transfer window to rebuild, the ex-Chelsea boss is already under pressure to turn things around at the London Stadium.
The East London club should convince Aguerd to stay by offering him a crucial role in the team.
Potter can integrate the 29-year-old defender into the starting lineup as he often plays with three centre-backs in the starting lineup.
The Moroccan star’s form in Spain shows the Hammers made an error by letting him leave.
