Napoli must sell Piotr Zielinski to West Ham United in order to complete new signing
Napoli need to sell midfielder Piotr Zielinski to West Ham in order to raise funds for new arrivals, according to Corriere Di Verona.
The Italian newspaper reported on Sunday (31 July, page 12) that Napoli want to sign £14.2million-rated Hellas Verona striker Giovanni Simeone as well as his teammate Antonin Barak.
It is understood that in order to afford both players, Napoli need to cash in on Polish attacking midfielder Zielinski, 28, who’s been recently valued at over £33.5million [Dharmesh Sheth].

Make a move
West Ham’s midfield options are very limited right now so it would make sense for David Moyes to go into the market and add to that area of his squad.
While Zielinski is mainly an attacking midfielder, he can play in a central role and last season, stats by transfermarkt show that 11 of his 42 appearances across all competitions for Napoli came in that area.
Zielinski scored eight times and supplied five assists altogether in those appearances with Barcelona, Lazio, Inter Milan and Atalanta among those he netted against.

He’s a big-game player who’s worth a big-money fee.
But West Ham could really do with him.
As it stands, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Flynn Downes are our only proper central options while Pablo Fornals and Manuel Lanzini are the attacking players at Moyes’ disposal.
Zielinski would probably be an upgrade on a few of them and while it might cost a lot of money to do that, it should be worthwhile and continue to make this Hammers squad one that can be feared by the Premier League’s big-six.
It’s been a frustrating summer for West Ham fans but it’s hard to argue with the results that Moyes has gained so far in terms of his incomings.
One top-quality midfielder would really be the cherry on top of the cake though.
