Mohammed Kudus sends public message to West Ham United ace amid £100,000-a-week contract news
Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus has sent a message to Edson Alvarez after West Ham secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Brighton on Saturday (August 26).
The Sunday Mirror reported on page 76 of its print edition on 27 August that the Ghanaian international will put pen to paper on a £100,000-a-week contract as he looks to complete his move to East London.
Alvarez, who signed for the Hammers from the Dutch club this summer, posted on Instagram after the Brighton game that it was an “amazing victory away from home”, with the 23-year-old Kudus responding by saying “machine” in reference to the Mexican midfielder’s nickname.

Exciting
It’s clear to see from the Instagram exchange that Alvarez and Kudus are good friends after the pair have played with each other for the past few years at Ajax.
Alvarez was delighted to make his first start for West Ham in the victory over Brighton and he can be pleased with his contribution after putting in a solid performance.
The midfielder will be looking forward to, hopefully, reuniting with Kudus at the London Stadium soon as he closes in on a move to the Hammers.

The Sunday Mirror reported that the club have now agreed to meet the Eredivisie side’s asking price for the forward, with the deal worth up to £40million including add-ons.
It is expected to be concluded within the next 48 hours and the fans will be looking forward to seeing Alvarez and Kudus link up in claret and blue this season as we look to build upon a solid start to the campaign.
