Michail Antonio’s whereabout shared as post-West Ham move now on cards

Michail Antonio looks set to finally secure his first move after leaving West Ham.

Antonio left the London Stadium in the summer after a 10-year stint with the Hammers, in which he became their leading Premier League goalscorer, with 68 strikes in the division.

A horrific car crash derailed his final season with West Ham, and left him with serious injuries, but he will forever be remembered as an icon by supporters for his contributions over the years.

He was in talks with Charlton and Qatari club Al-Sailiya over a potential switch, and it appears that he has now decided on his next destination, as his whereabouts were revealed.

Where has Michail Antonio been spotted?

Antonio has been spotted attending an Al-Sailiya match, surely sealing where he will play his football next.

BBC journalist Nizaar Kinsella shared an image showing the ex-Irons ace at their 1-0 loss to Umm Salal on 20 February.

He claimed that a deal is not complete, but it is a “significant” development that he made the trip to watch the Qatar Stars League side.

Why West Ham supporters will always love Antonio

Hammers supporters will wish Antonio well if he makes the move to the Arab peninsula to secure one final payday before his career ends.

He always gave everything for the claret and blue shirt, and constantly worked his way back into the team after the East London side had bought striker after striker.

The likes of Sebastian Haller, Gianluca Scamacca and Niclas Fullkrug all arrived for big money, but the Jamaican star always found himself in the starting line-up over them in the end.

He initially started as a winger, but ended up being a reliable option upfront, with at least 10 goals each season from 2019 to 2022.

He was also an integral member of the squad that won the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2022-23 season, the club’s first trophy in 43 years, forever etching his name in the history books at Rush Green.

The 35-year-old will always feel the love from the fanbase in E20, no matter where he ends up playing his football next.

If it is Qatar, then so be it.
