Lucas Paqueta wanted by Al Nassr amid ‘complicated’ West Ham United update
Al Nassr are showing an interest in signing Lucas Paqueta from West Ham United this summer but a deal may be impacted by his Football Association charges, according to ESPN.
The online outlet has reported (19 June) that any deal will be “complicated” by the FA and the charges being assessed against the Brazilian against alleged betting breaches.
The Saudi Arabian giants are looking to sign a “creative central midfielder” and have already looked at the Hammers star.
Mohammed Kudus is also of interest to the Saudi Pro League, with Al Ittihad one side enquiring about the forward this summer.
West Ham star Lucas Paqueta linked to Al Nassr
The Hammers will more than likely need to make sales this summer to have funds to make any signings.
Tim Steidten has been keen to make his control of transfers count after bringing in Luis Guilherme from Palmerias early on.
It had looked as if Paqueta was going to be on his way to Manchester City but his charges put a dampener on that potential move.
Now this looks as if it has had the same effect on a potential move to Saudi Arabia, with Al Nassr wary of any future punishment.
Paqueta is a blockbuster player who finally found his feet at the London Stadium last season with some standout moments.

It is unclear as to whether or not he will be allowed to play next season, but a move away now looks unlikely.
That is a positive on the face of it for the Hammers, of course, but they could do with the FA making a decision one way or another soon.
In other West Ham news, Julen Lopetegui has been told to sign a Championship star in a great value summer transfer.
