Konstantinos Mavropanos medical ongoing as West Ham United hope to complete signing before Chelsea game
Konstantinos Mavropanos is currently undergoing his medical ahead of his move to West Ham from VfB Stuttgart, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Sky Sports journalist tweeted on 20 August that the Hammers are hoping to conclude the deal for the Greek centre-back ahead of the game against Chelsea on Sunday.
He said the 25-year-old could be in attendance at the London Stadium if the Irons manage to complete his medical ahead of the £17.1million deal in time.

If West Ham can complete the deal for Mavropanos before kick-off against Chelsea, that will provide a boost to everyone associated with the club ahead of the London derby.
The Irons switched their attention to the centre-back after a move for England international Harry Maguire fell through with Manchester United deciding to keep hold of him.
After Tim Steidten recommended the Greek to David Moyes, club insider ExWHUemployee reported on his Patreon that the Hammers boss was impressed by his physical attributes, pace and ability on the ball, which are key attributes he is looking to add to his defensive options this summer.
After joining from Arsenal last summer, he made 34 appearances for the German club last season, where he scored three goals and laid on one assist to help keep them in the top flight.
The defender will add another option to the East Londoners’ backline as we look to strengthen our squad ahead of what will hopefully be another successful season in Europe.
