Karren Brady reveals which two new West Ham signings she personally worked on
Karren Brady seemingly played a significant role at West Ham United in the most recent transfer window, as she stepped in to help move along deals.
The Hammers needed to have a strong winter window, as relegation has been staring them in the face for much of the season.
Nuno Espirito Santo was handed plenty of new signings, with four new first-team players arriving in E20 as the Portuguese looked to turn things around.
Results since have been on an upward trajectory, and the Irons find themselves level on points with 17th place, Nottingham Forest.
Now, it has been shared the role Karren Brady played in West Ham’s recent transfers which have pushed them closer to survival.

Which signings did Karren Brady work on for West Ham?
As revealed by the West Ham United Independent Supporters’ Committee, a third Fan Advisory Board (FAB) was held by the East London club.
According to the minutes, Brady was asked to take on a new role during the recent transfer window.
The Vice-Chair typically deals with the non-football side of things but did step in for negotiations during the winter.
It has been said “that the shareholders had asked the Vice-Chair to manage the negotiation of transfers during the window in January 2026 and that she had worked on most of these, including the two new strikers.”
Those two striker signings would arrive in the form of Taty Castellanos and Pablo.

It has been a mixed start to life for the two arrivals, with the Brazilian picking up an injury early into his time in England. He has started just three games in the league.
However, Pablo did mark his return against Brentford in the FA Cup.
For Castellanos, while his performances have shown energy and determination, the striker has only managed two goals in his first nine Premier League appearances.
Can West Ham’s striker curse finally end?
The new signings will be hoping to end the season strong and ultimately put an end to West Ham’s striker problems.
Over the years, the Hammers have struggled to bring a consistent goalscorer to lead the line, and that has been a root cause of their issues.
So far, Castellanos has not been that goalscorer, with the Argentine even admitting he sees himself as more of a false nine.

There have been flashes of quality, with his link-up play and work ethic a real positive so far during his Premier League stint.
Pablo, on the other hand, has been sparsely seen. The jury is certainly still out on the two new centre-forwards.
It will be a crucial few months in East London, and it could determine whether the Hammers may need to sign another number nine in the summer.
