Jean-Clair Todibo medical twists emerges as fresh West Ham transfer news drop
Juventus have offered to sign Jean-Clair Todibo on loan from West Ham United with an option to make the move permanent, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
However, the Sky Italia journalist, reporting via his personal website (Friday, 24 January), added that the Bianconeri are already cooling their interest in the defender for two reasons.
For starters, the Irons are not open to the idea of letting the France international go on loan, especially with no guarantees that the transfer will be made permanent.
Furthermore, there are medical concerns over Todibo, who is expected to be sidelined for at least three more weeks due to a muscular injury.
West Ham in pickle over Jean-Clair Todibo situation as Juventus make U-turn
West Ham signed Todibo on a season-long loan from OGC Nice with high hopes. On top of that, they have agreed to buy the centre-back from the French club for around £34million [BBC].
However, the transfer has not gone according to plan as the former Barcelona ace does not seem to be at home in East London.
It is worth noting that Todibo fell out with Julen Lopetegui before the Spanish tactician was sacked earlier this month [GiveMeSport].
Furthermore, he is said to be regretting his decision to join the Hammers over Juventus in the summer [Alfredo Pedulla].

That means it is better for both the club and the player to go separate ways before things turn sour.
However, with Juventus cooling their interest in the central defender, it remains to be seen if West Ham will look to offload him before the winter transfer window closes on 3 February.
