Jarrod Bowen at centre of West Ham and Liverpool transfer reveal that could have big ramifications – ‘Wow’
Jarrod Bowen has been tipped as the long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.
West Ham are in a relegation scrap, and the last thing Nuno Espirito Santo needs is to lose Bowen.
David Sullivan has caused uproar at E20 over the years, and if he were to sanction a Bowen sale, the Hammers fans would riot.
However, Bowen has been linked with a West Ham exit before, and the Irons know his quality is admired.
That said, West Ham now face the very real risk of losing their star player, according to recent updates.

Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen with Mohamed Salah exit nearing
Joe Cole has suggested that Bowen will leave West Ham, as the Englishman allegedly seeks European football.
Salah has not been able to hit the same heights as last season so far, and rumours are increasing that Bowen will be the successor to the Reds’ legend.
- Salah got 57 goal contributions in 52 games for Liverpool last campaign
- He is only managing a goal contribution once every two games currently
- Salah has been slammed for poor performances this term
On Friday, Andy Goldstein and former Premier League striker Darren Bent were discussing the rumours of Bowen to Liverpool live on talkSPORT.
The situation is worrying from a West Ham perspective, and even had Bent saying “wow”, as ramifications on Salah make a transfer seem inevitable.
Goldstein said: “Bowen is rumoured to be of interest to Liverpool as a long-term replacement for Salah.”
Bent replied: “Wow. I’m fascinated to see how the situation is going to turn out.
“Of course, Salah’s going to slow down, but I didn’t expect the drop off to be this dramatic.”
With Salah’s current dip in form, it’s making a January move for Bowen look likely.
Bowen owes West Ham nothing
The worst part of the news for West Ham is that Bowen actually owes the Hammers nothing after his heroics.
Bowen scored the winning goal in the Irons’ UEFA Conference League triumph against Fiorentina back in 2023.
The feat edged Bowen further into West Ham history, as there’s a likely chance that he will be regarded as a legend once he leaves.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 250 | 77 | 48 |
Bowen could yet decide to stay at E20 and help the Hammers survive the drop. However, opportunities like Liverpool may not come around again for Bowen.
If an offer is made in January, he could jump ship.
