James Ward-Prowse advisers seek desperate West Ham United escape route
James Ward-Prowse’s representatives have been in contact with other Premier League clubs ahead of a move away from West Ham, according to talkSPORT.
The radio station reported to its website on 27 August that the Hammers are “open to offers” for the former England international.
The 29-year-old’s advisers have been “actively contacting” other Premier League clubs in an attempt to generate interest in his signature.
James Ward-Prowse could now leave West Ham
After spending his entire career at Southampton, Ward-Prowse moved to East London in a deal worth £30million [BBC Sport].
It could prove to be a short-lived spell for the midfielder at the London Stadium with a departure on the cards after just one season.
Ward-Prowse has been linked to Nottingham Forest who are looking at him as well as Fulham’s Andreas Pereira [The Mirror].
This comes after new head coach Julen Lopetegui has benched the Englishman for the opening two games of the Premier League season.
Featuring in just 16 minutes of action this campaign clearly isn’t good enough for his representatives who are seeking a move away.
This has been negatively impacted by the Irons’ pursuit of PSG’s Carlos Soler who could take the place of the Englishman in the squad.

It would be a strange decision to move the former Southampton captain on so soon after moving to the Hammers last summer.
He has plenty to offer to Lopetegui and Co. as the season moves on and selling him to a direct rival could prove to be a mistake.
