Ibrahim Sangare open to London move as West Ham United eye £25m deal
West Ham United are considering a £25m move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare after they missed out on Amadou Onana.
The Hammers agreed a £33.3m fee with Lille for Onana but couldn’t agree personal terms and the player is now set to join Everton, leaving the Irons to go back to square one in their hunt for a new midfielder.
Now Sangare has emerged as a target and despite competition from the likes of AC Milan, the player is said to be open to a move to London according to the Daily Mail [August 7].

The 24-year-old is an international teammate of fellow new signing Maxwel Cornet and that could help convince him to join the club.
At 6ft 4′, the robust midfielder would be an excellent addition and is valued at around £25m by his current club. He has three years remaining on his current contract.
Massive
Sangare is a name that has been linked with a move away from the Eredivisie regularly this summer, but West Ham’s interest would make a lot of sense.
Moyes is a big fan of physically imposing midfield players and that’s something that Sangare is, but he’s also an excellent footballer with solid technique and an energy that would suit the Premier League.

Sangare could see his head turned if bigger clubs firmed up their interest in his signature, so West Ham should look to avoid a tussle by moving quickly and getting a deal done as soon as possible.
He obviously wasn’t the first choice target for the position, but as a cheaper alternative who has more first-team experience and has played at a higher level it would be a terrific signing.
Moyes wants signings and he wants them quickly, and a deal for Sangare is there to do if they want it.
