There is still plenty of time for Todibo to find his exit route out of E20 this summer.
While Juventus are also looking into signing the centre-back as per reports out of Italy.
The outlet Gazzetta Della Sport has shared that Frederic Massara, Juventus' football director, has been exploring the possibility of capturing the signature of the Frenchman.
Massara, who used to be sporting director at AC Milan, still has plenty of connections there, with him using his previous relationship with goalkeeper Mike Maignan in the Todibo pursuit.
The World Cup semi-finalist and Todibo are both represented by Excellence Sports Nation, with Massara said to be "taking advantage" of that fact.
Todibo has been a long-term target for Juventus, first sought after in 2024 under a different regime. It is said by the Italian report that a loan could be agreed.
What West Ham should ensure in any loan deal for Todibo
If Todibo is to go on loan, the Hammers should make sure of two things included in the deal.
Number one, the French defender's wages should be fully covered. As per Capology, the centre-back is on £80,000 per week.
That is a hefty salary, especially for a side in the Championship this upcoming season.
Additionally, the Irons should seek an option or obligation to buy Todibo to keep his permanent exit open on the table.
With Nuno picked out as West Ham's man to lead them into the future, the expectation is he will be here long-term.
Due to that, there is seemingly no chance of Todibo playing under the Portuguese manager, so sending him out on a straight loan would simply just kick the can down the road.
