Guido Rodriguez makes exit intention clear at West Ham as agent reveals preferred move
Guido Rodriguez has made his favourable destination clear ahead of a potential West Ham exit in January.
West Ham signed Rodriguez on a free transfer from Real Betis in the summer of 2024 in what appeared to be a top piece of business from Tim Steidten and Co.
Things haven’t worked out for the World Cup winner, with Rodriguez being a bit-part player for West Ham throughout his London Stadium career.
Rodriguez was linked with a West Ham exit in the most recent transfer window, but a move never materialised for the defensive midfielder.
That could change in the winter as Rodriguez seems to have January planned out with an E20 departure in mind.

Guido Rodriguez selects preferred West Ham exit destination
West Ham could soon replace Rodriguez if the Argentina international were to depart, and Nuno Espirito Santo is afforded a fair transfer budget.
The 31-year-old has featured in just two Premier League matches and has generally failed to impress in any claret and blue outing.
That could spell the beginning of the end for the midfielder, even with over a month remaining until the January window opens.
365Scores reported on 16 November that Rodriguez wants to leave East London and intends not to renew his contract with the Irons.
His representatives have already begun to seek out an exit route, which has seen Club America emerge as the Argentine’s preferred destination.
The defensive-minded ace has seen his agent initiate talks with the Mexican outfit over an affordable deal, but they remain uncertain due to the financial considerations involved for a player of his age.
West Ham must force Rodriguez exit in January
The situation ahead of January may revolve around Rodriguez wanting to leave and West Ham wanting him gone.
There is no benefit to having the midfielder around after what has been a truly woeful spell since signing after his Real Betis exit.
He was supposed to provide a steady head and true experience of the top level to help take the Hammers to the next level, but that hasn’t been the case.

Rodriguez is too slow for the Premier League and has been passed by in almost every game, costing the claret and blue outfit dearly.
Getting him out the door to Mexico could prove to be a beneficial move for all parties, West Ham just need to make it happen.
