Graham Potter wants a new keeper before the transfer window ends and the hierarchy are working towards making that happen.

The Hammers are in positive conversations with Leicester over the transfer of the Denmark international, according to Henry Winter (5 August).
After their relegation to the Championship, the Foxes are now likely to lose the 25-year-old.
Personal terms are agreed between West Ham and Hermansen as he fancies a move to the London outfit.
It’s understood that the Championship outfit are looking for £20million for the Dane, but the two sides have yet to agree on a fee.

At the London Stadium outfit, where Areola’s distribution has been inconsistent, the 25-year-old offers an upgrade, enabling Potter to implement his possession-based system.

It’s now on the Hammers to make an offer for the goalkeeper and reach an agreement with the relegated side over a fee.
Hopefully, this deal does not drag on any further and a resolution is reached quickly so he can adapt to his teammates and manager.
There is a high possibility that he will make the number one spot his own at the club and whether or not Areola leaves the club, remains to be seen.
