Graham Potter ready to sell Alvarez as final days emerge at West Ham United
Edson Alvarez could be set to leave West Ham this summer.
He has failed to establish himself as a regular starter at the London Stadium, featuring 28 times in the Premier League last season.
The 27-year-old Mexico international has been sounded out by the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Monaco over a potential move.
That could be more likely after the latest developments emerged from East London.

West Ham will let Alvarez leave
Alvarez has struggled to hit the heights that West Ham expected from him when he was signed in a £35million deal from Ajax.
A report from ESPN Mexico (17 July) claims that Alvarez is not in Potter’s plans for the new season.
It states that the midfielder could be in his final days as a Hammers player, as they are willing to listen to offers for the El Tri ace.

Alvarez needs to be replaced at West Ham
While an exit for the Mexican makes sense, David Sullivan and Co. will have to replace him adequately in the transfer market.
The Irons are already lacking bodies in the engine room, and before they consider selling him, they must have signed a new midfielder.
Liverpool and England Under-21 star Tyler Morton has been linked, and he would be a brilliant addition as he would add dynamism and creativity, something which the E20 outfit lack right now.
Potter faces a huge task to overhaul the squad after the dismal recruitment led by Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten last summer, that eventually ended up with both being sacked.
It is absolutely vital that he gets it right, otherwise, he may be out of a job in the near future, and the vicious cycle of replacing a manager may start again for the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League winners.
It remains to be seen whether they can do that, and letting Alvarez leave without sorting out his replacement would be a dangerous move given how vital the revamp is.
The veteran may command a decent fee, that would allow the Hammers to reinvest in the squad, but it may be a struggle to replace him.
