Gary Neville will be blown away if West Ham sign Jesse Lingard and Kurt Zouma
West Ham would have an “outstanding” transfer window if they cap it off by signing Jesse Lingard and Kurt Zouma, according to Gary Neville.
The Times has reported that West Ham are expected to make a move to re-sign Lingard, 28, from Manchester United after his successful half-season loan spell in East London last term.
It is also understood that David Moyes wants to sign 26-year-old Chelsea centre-back Zouma.

“I would say they have been quiet on the ins and quiet on the outs. I would say that’s a good transfer window for West Ham,” Neville said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football this week [07:05pm].
“They had a really good team last year. To keep that team together is something that’s a real positive.
“If they can add to it this week. A Jesse Lingard, talks of Zouma from Chelsea, that would be an outstanding transfer window and they could really push close to what they did last year.”
What about a striker?
We’ve had a stunning start to the Premier League season and we really don’t want to take anything away from the fact we’re currently top of the table after sticking eight goals past Newcastle and Leicester.
However, it would be short-sighted to feel as though our work is done this summer.
Moyes hasn’t signed a single new outfield player since leading the Irons to a sixth-placed finish last season.
We were left light after the January transfer window when Sebastien Haller left for Ajax before Michail Antonio’s Declan Rice’s injuries put a spanner in the works.
West Ham could have qualified for the Champions League if Moyes had good cover for both.
Re-signing Lingard is a no-brainer while the centre-back area needs to be added to as well.
Lingard and Zouma would be brilliant signings but what about the centre of the midfield and the striker area?
In other West Ham news, Dharmesh Sheth says there’s every chance the Irons will sign this international forward.
