Every West Ham player who faces being sold by Nuno Espirito Santo in January transfer window

Nuno Espirito Santo has the chance to clear out some of the deadwood from his West Ham squad as the January transfer window opens.

Nuno is under big sack pressure at West Ham, with the East London side sitting in the Premier League relegation zone, four points adrift of safety.

Niclas Fullkrug has already agreed to join AC Milan on loan until the end of the season, but a number of other Hammers players could be set for a January exit.

As the transfer window opens, West Ham Zone rounds up every single West Ham player who could be sold or loaned out before the deadline.

James Ward-Prowse could finally escape West Ham nightmare

Since Nuno replaced Graham Potter earlier this season, James Ward-Prowse has not featured in a single matchday squad for West Ham.

Ward-Prowse looks certain to leave in January, but it remains to be seen whether that will be a permanent exit or just on loan.

The English midfielder has been linked with a return to former club Southampton, where he spent 20 years in their academy and senior side before completing a move to the London Stadium in 2023.

Elsewhere, Sporting Lisbon are working on a permanent deal for winger Luis Guilherme, who has failed to fulfil his potential at West Ham.

The Brazilian joined the Hammers from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024, but has featured just five times in the Premier League this season.

West Ham could also offload Guido Rodriguez, who has only made four appearances under Nuno and seems to be well down the pecking order in midfield.

West Ham set for loan exodus in January

With West Ham fighting for Premier League survival, the chances of any youngsters being given an opportunity to develop are incredibly low.

Therefore, the Hammers may decide to loan out some of their rising stars to give them a chance of first-team football elsewhere.

VfL Bochum are leading the race to sign Callum Marshall until the end of the season, but there are several other European clubs interested in the young forward.

George Earthy and Mohamadou Kante are another two who could be allowed to leave on loan in January, in order to aid their development.

Midfielder Andy Irving is on the fringes of the squad and sees his contract expire at the end of this season, so he will be looking for a temporary or permanent exit this month.
