Enzo Raiola drops update as West Ham United hunt deal to sign Everton striker Moise Kean

Everton striker Moise Kean is happy to quit Goodison Park this summer amid interest from West Ham, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper reports via their print edition on 5 June (page 14) that Juve are seeking a “solution” to sign Kean, 22, permanently from Everton after he spent the 2021/22 season on loan at the Serie A club.

PSG, who had Kean on loan in the 2020/22 season, are also said to be interested in signing the Italy centre-forward as well as the Irons.

Kean’s agent Enzo Raiola shared an image of himself with Kean on Instagram on Saturday (4 June), saying that there is “work in progress”.

We can do better

Kean was managed by Mino Raiola before his recent tragic death and his son, Enzo, now looks to be taking charge of the Italian striker’s affairs.

But he has a lot to live up to because Mino was performing miracles to get this player to play for the clubs he’s been at over the last couple of seasons.

Kean has been a major flop at Everton and his loan spells at PSG and Juventus have hardly grabbed the headlines in France and Paris.

He scored just six goals in 44 appearances across all competitions for Juventus in the 2021/22 season, starting just 12 times in Serie A as he had to make do with being an impact substitute.

We have no idea why Juventus would want to sign the Italian striker permanently from Everton – unless his agent is pushing the move.

Keane’s already struggled in English football and we doubt that he’ll pull up any trees at West Ham either.

If we have plenty of cash to spend on a new striker this summer, we don’t want to see David Moyes landing a striker who very clearly is having his career forced by an agent.

Kean has talent. But he’s not as talented as some of these clubs make out to begin with because he consistently joins big-name teams and does nothing but sit on their bench.

Leave it, West Ham.

Sign someone else.
