David Sullivan not finished after Adama Traore as West Ham active for more transfers
Adama Traore looks set to become West Ham’s fourth signing of the January transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on reuniting with Traore at the London Stadium, after the pair’s success at Wolves for many years.
Reports on Saturday suggested that the Fulham winger was dragging his heels in negotiations, but new claims now seem to have dismissed this.
Marco Silva has confirmed that Traore will leave Fulham in the remaining time left of the transfer window, with E20 his likely destination.
David Sullivan has spent big so far in recent weeks, but Traore doesn’t seem to be his last throw of the dice for West Ham.

West Ham line up several new players after Adama Traore
West Ham’s 3-1 home victory over Sunderland has lifted spirits in East London, and there’s now a renewed belief that the Hammers can stay in the Premier League.
Taty Castellanos and Pablo are both without their first league goals for the Irons, but with the rest of the squad firing, their time to celebrate may soon come.
Traore would add further depth to Nuno’s squad. But although the Spaniard may be a bench option, it seems West Ham haven’t ruled out further additions that could come straight in to the side.
| Player | Position |
| Jarrod Bowen | Right-wing |
| Adama Traore | Right-wing |
According to Claret and Hugh on Saturday, the rumours of Traore not being interested in the move to E20 are untrue.
The forward is said to be just one of several players that Sullivan and Co. are in active negotiations to sign.

Traore is, of course, the player who is close to joining West Ham, but that doesn’t mean others are far away from being announced.
Why Lucas Paqueta’s exit is crucial for West Ham
Lucas Paqueta’s saga with the Hammers and Flamengo seems to be taking an age. A deal is yet to be found despite the Brazilian agreeing on personal terms to return to his former club.
Flamengo are willing to offer around £43million for Paqueta, and it appears that the Irons are closer than ever to accepting the move.
If Sullivan does sell the 28-year-old, West Ham will be instantly aided in their pursuit of more signings.
- Paqueta has scored two open-play goals for West Ham this season
- He has one assist for the Hammers in the last two seasons
Paqeuta hasn’t exactly convinced by performances this campaign, and the last thing that Nuno needs in a relegation scrap is players who don’t want to play for the badge.
The attacking midfielder could be shown the door in the coming days, and his exit should be welcomed by all.
