Crysencio Summerville sends message as Liverpool agree terms for transfer
Crysencio Summerville will carry on his recovery throughout the summer, preparing to return for West Ham next season.
The winger underwent surgery towards the end of the campaign for a hamstring injury, which will rule out any offers coming in for his services this summer.
Graham Potter has plenty of work to do, though, in order to strengthen his side in preparation for pushing further up the table next season.
Several players are linked with moves away from the London Stadium, too, and the Hammers may need to be prepared to sanction exits in order to help abide by PSR regulations.

Summerville sends message to Jeremie Frimpong
Although Mohammed Kudus was reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool this summer, the Reds’ business so far has suggested that is unlikely to be his destination.
Arne Slot’s men have wasted no time in getting to work as they look towards a second successive Premier League title.
Liverpool announced the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and Summerville took to Instagram to congratulate his Dutch teammate on the move.
Commenting on the announcement video, Summerville wrote: “Let’s go my bro” accompanied by a red heart.
Supporters at the London Stadium will be hoping that the pair aren’t too friendly when they come up against each other next season.
Summerville has to step up at West Ham
Having made just 19 Premier League appearances this season, it has not been the most fruitful for Summerville.
Appearances | Goals | Assists |
19 | 1 | 1 |
The 23-year-old has suffered with injuries, but in a poor season throughout the West Ham team, he also failed to make a difference when he did play.
Supporters found themselves frustrated with the winger’s attitude, too, after he initially turned down surgery when ruled out in January before going on to have it in May, lengthening the period he will be out for at the London Stadium.
Even with new additions in the door, Potter will be turning to faces throughout his squad to make the difference next term and Summerville certainly has to step up.
When fit again, the winger has to use the opportunity to sell himself to those in East London once more and prove why the Hammers were right to get him in the first place.
