Crysencio Summerville may have sent West Ham farewell as billionaire green lights transfer
Crysencio Summerville is finally edging closer to ending the saga around his West Ham United exit.
The Dutch winger is still on his break after the World Cup, but he isn't expected to return to Rush Green.
Unlike Jarrod Bowen, who is staying at the London Stadium, Summerville may have already packed his bags.
AS Roma are pushing hard to take the attacker to the Italian capital, and all roads appear to be leading there.
With two bids rejected already, West Ham aren't making it easy.
Mateus Fernandes was sold for a huge £85million, and Summerville is set to take that past £100m very quickly.
Has Crysencio Summerville said goodbye to West Ham already?
West Ham Zone has covered reports that Tuesday is a definitive day in the exit of Summerville.
Roma are pushing hard, and are at the stage of a third bid.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports in its print edition on 21 July that the bid should go past £42.2m with added bonuses on appearances and Europe.
The Italian newspaper state that Dan Friedkin, the owner of Roma, has not only said yes to the investment, but wants it doing as soon as possible.
It's even speculated that Summerville's latest Instagram post, including images on private jets, could taste of a farewell to West Ham.
What did Crysencio Summerville post on social media?
Taking to his Instagram, the attacker simply wrote: "Endlessly blessed, forever grateful."
Alongside images of him boarding the private plane were countless slides of him running and training, keeping up his fitness after the World Cup.
It's a bit speculative to suggest it's a farewell at this stage.
One thing that isn't speculative, is the wealth of Friedkin.
Via Forbes, the American businessman is worth around £8.6billion.
West Ham will also know this, which is why they simply have buckled under the pressure of relegation to these bids.
Nuno Espirito Santo will know that Summerville is going, but he'll be delighted with the Hammers are playing hardball to get as much money as possible.
If Roma want it doing quickly, they'll need to pay what's been asked, or they simply won't get their man.
