Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham keen on West Ham move
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is interested in a move to West Ham, according to ExWHUemployee.
The Irons insider made the claim on The West Ham Way podcast [12/07/21], where he delivered an update on the club’s attempts to sign the 23-year-old.
“Tammy Abraham is worth noting,” he said. “He hasn’t joined anyone yet despite strong interest from Aston Villa.

“Apparently Abraham is keen on a move to West Ham, he likes Declan Rice and a few other players in the squad and obviously he’s a London boy.
“I think he’s tempted to come to West Ham and obviously [David] Moyes likes him a lot, so we might see some movement on that in the next few weeks.”

Perfect stage
We probably shouldn’t be too surprised to hear that Abraham is keen on a move – after all, where else could he end up?
Unless a foreign club comes in to sign him, and he is agreeable to a move away from England, then it is hard to see who the six-capped England international would leave Chelsea for.
Thomas Tuchel’s side will surely be reticent to sell him to one of their traditional rivals for the Premier League or Champions League spots, so that rules out the five of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
After that, there are only two more clubs competing in Europe next season – West Ham and Leicester City.
The Foxes can be ruled out after recently signing forward Patson Daka to add to their strong forward line of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Therefore, we are surely leading contenders to sign Abraham, with Europa League football and the chance to stay in London big incentives to snub Aston Villa and head to east London.
