Arsenal join race for West Ham-linked ace Tosin Adarabioyo
West Ham remain interested in Fulham ace Tosin Adarabioyo but are set to face competition from Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window, according to HITC.
The online source reported [19 March] that the Gunners have entered the race to sign the 26-year-old centre-back, having already been linked with a move to the London Stadium in January. [HITC]
It is understood that the Hammers will face a lot of Premier League competition for Adarabioyo’s signature, with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United all keeping tabs.
Could West Ham United pip their Premier League rivals to Tosin Adarabioyo?
With the in-form defender set to see out his current contract with Fulham, having rebuffed several extension offers, it is no wonder that so many Premier League clubs are lining up for him.
Adarabioyo has been quietly flying under the radar at Craven Cottage, performing well in London ever since leaving Manchester City in October 2020.
The defender has amassed 127 appearances for Fulham, making him one of the most experienced players in Marco Silva’s squad. However, the Cottagers’ hopes of keeping him seem to be crumbling around them.
Clear of what he wants for his footballing career, Adarabioyo has every right to move on.
And with the Hammers’ consistent showings in Europe, including lifting the Europa Conference League and competing for the Europa League title this season, a move to the London Stadium could be quite persuasive.

In addition to this, David Moyes’ defence has been heavily criticised this season, especially since the turn of the year, with West Ham only winning their first match of 2024 at the end of February.
Club captain Kurt Zouma has been at the epicentre of this, with fans, pundits and the media alike blasting the Frenchman for some of his performances. With the summer transfer window looming, it may not be too long until the 29-year-old is stripped of his duties.
In other West Ham news, Michael Owen has been left fuming amid a recent controversy in London involving the Hammers.
