Alex Kral spotted with Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal amid West Ham transfer talks

Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral has been spotted with Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal amid speculation linking him with a move to West Ham.

On Saturday, the 23-year-old defensive midfielder attended Slavia Prague’s final match of the Czech First League season as they beat SK Dynamo 2-1.

As shown on Twitter, Kral was caught by cameras in the directors’ box with Coufal and Soucek after The Express reported West Ham had been in “extensive talks” to sign the Czech Republic international.

West Ham seem as though they’re going to continue growing their Czech contingency in East London by pushing forward with a deal to sign Kral.

While the summer transfer window hasn’t officially opened yet, there’s no reason why the Hammers cannot push on with talks and that seems to be what has happened with Kral.

We cannot say for certain a deal will go through because a lot of things need to be discussed and as of yet, there are no reports about agreements between the Spartak enforcer and the Irons.

However, for £14million, it does seem like a doable deal for the Irons.

Soucek and Coufal are bound to put in good words to Kral although it’s unlikely he’ll need much persuading to ditch Moscow and play in the Premier League.

While he plays in a similar midfield role to Declan Rice, The Express reports that Kral is seen as a back-up or competition for Rice rather than a replacement.

That’s good news so we’d be happy to see another Czech ace head to the East End.

In other West Ham news, the Irons are likely to table an offer to sign this £135,000-a-week striker.
