AC Milan in pole position to sign Niclas Fullkrug as finalised deal update emerges
Niclas Fullkrug is nearing a West Ham exit as AC Milan emerges as his likely destination.
The German striker has been anything but a hit since joining the Hammers in 2024 from Borussia Dortmund, and looks to be another one of David Sullivan’s poor investments.
Fullkrug has struggled with injuries of late, but when he’s been fit, the striker has also failed to deliver the desired impact on the field.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping to improve the Irons in January, as Fullkrug has been tipped for a January exit ever since the head coach arrived.
Fullkrug is currently out with a muscle injury, but should be back for the Christmas period, as everything is lining up for his E20 departure.

If West Ham want to improve on their league position further with Nuno, they will need to sign an improvement on Fullkrug.
The Hammers could be in luck, as AC Milan seem a strong favourite to land Fullkrug, as a deal could be finalised very soon.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Fullkrug “wants” to leave the Irons, as AC Milan have identified him as a target.
They also confirmed that contact is ongoing between both the Italian outfit and the striker’s agent, but a deal is yet to be finalised.
West Ham are believed to be open to selling Fullkrug, but only if they have a replacement lined up first.
Who could West Ham target to replace Fullkrug?
West Ham have been heavily linked with Ivan Toney in November, as the former Brentford and England international could seek a return to the Premier League.
Real Madrid’s Endrick has also been tipped for a move to the London Stadium, but that is a deal that has seemed to slow in pace over the past few weeks.
Luis Guilherme could leave West Ham in January, which could aid the Hammers in their attempts to land Toney.
Fullkrug would not be missed at E20, as Toney would be a huge upgrade on the German.
