Aaron Wan-Bissaka update emerges as West Ham United eye another transfer
Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has passed one part of his medical ahead of his transfer to West Ham, according to westhamfootball.co.uk.
The reliable Hammers news outlet took to X on 12 August to claim that while an announcement could happen on Monday itself, it’s likely to happen on Tuesday morning which is the 13th of August.
As things stand, the 26-year-old is carrying out the media duties before an official announcement is made.
Via X, they wrote: “Aaron Wan-Bissaka has completed part one of his medical and is carrying out media work (Photos and video) on the expectation of completing part two and signing his contract.
“Outside chance of an announcement tonight although a Tuesday morning official announcement seems the more likely.”
West Ham must help Aaron Wan-Bissaka realise his true potential
Julen Lopetegui should bring the best out of Wan-Bissaka by implementing a tactical system that plays to the defender’s strengths.
The right-back is known for his exceptional tackling and defensive abilities, making him a formidable presence in one-on-one situations.
Lopetegui should encourage him to be aggressive in his defensive duties, using his pace and timing to disrupt opposition attacks.
Offensively, the 26-year-old has room for improvement so the Spaniard can work with him on his crossing and decision-making in the final third.
The manager should provide Wan-Bissaka with clear instructions on when to overlap and when to hold back, ensuring he contributes effectively to the team’s attacking play.
Lopetegui should also focus on improving the defender’s positional awareness and communication with his teammates and he could go on to become a success at the club.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have now sanctioned the exits of three first-team players after a transfer development over the weekend.
