Aaron Ramsdale in West Ham transfer twist as mystery offer revealed
Aaron Ramsdale has emerged as an option to strengthen the goalkeeping department at West Ham United.
Graham Potter will want David Sullivan to back him with new signings as he prepares for his first summer transfer window as the West Ham manager.
The goalkeeping department is among the areas that are expected to be addressed this summer, with Lukasz Fabianski’s contract running out at the end of the season.
Fabianski was the Irons’ first-choice goalkeeper at the start of the year, but has since been ousted by Alphonse Areola, who also faces uncertainty at the London Stadium.

Ramsdale to West Ham on cards
Therefore, it will not be a surprise if West Ham sign a new first-choice goalkeeper this summer, with Burnley’s James Trafford already on their radar.
Ramsdale is another goalkeeper the Hammers are considering signing to bolster their options in goal, according to Gary Jacob.
The journalist reported via The Times website on Thursday (10 April) that Potter’s side are plotting a summer move for the England international.
Southampton have already been confirmed to be relegated, but Ramsdale wants to stay in the Premier League to keep his place in the England national team.

That is why the 26-year-old will be allowed to leave St. Mary’s for about £20million just a year after joining the Saints for a deal worth £25m from Arsenal.
The shot-stopper has also been linked with moves to Bournemouth and Newcastle.
He reportedly earns more than £100,000 a week at Southampton, and that could reduce his options unless the Saints agree to pay a part of his salary.
An unnamed Premier League club have already asked about signing Ramsdale on loan.

Potter to welcome Ramsdale at London Stadium
Some of Ramsdale’s performances for Southampton this season have left much to be desired, but he was always going to struggle, considering how weak the Saints’ squad is.
The Englishman showed glimpses of his abilities during his time at Arsenal and Sheffield United, and there is no reason why he cannot replicate it at the London Stadium.
With a boost in confidence, Ramsdale could return to being a fine shot-stopper, and that is why Potter would welcome him at West Ham with open arms.
However, a loan-to-buy agreement might make the most amount of sense for the Irons.
