£54,000-a-week deal agreed for West Ham exit, transfer ‘green light’ expected within days
AC Milan have an agreement in place to sign Niclas Fullkrug on a six-month deal from West Ham United in the winter transfer window.
The Germany international has struggled since moving to the Hammers, and it looks like he’ll now have a chance to reignite his career, potentially on loan at San Siro.
Fullkrug has been linked with a move to Milan in recent weeks, and the reports may soon be coming true, with January just around the corner.
Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a new striker at the London Stadium, and the former Borussia Dortmund striker’s possible exit will only accelerate those plans in E20.

Niclas Fullkrug to earn £1.3million at AC Milan as West Ham to approve exit
West Ham are expected to “green-light” Fullkrug’s move to AC Milan in the coming days, according to Daniele Longo.
The Calciomercato journalist revealed on X on 18 December that the Serie A giants are set to sign the 32-year-old on a temporary deal, with his contract worth £1.3million.
With the striker potentially leaving for six months, he will be making around £54,000 a week at San Siro.
It will be interesting to see whether the Hammers will have to chip in a part of Fullkrug’s wages at the London Stadium for the rest of the season.
Nuno needs players ready to fight in the Premier League, with the threat of relegation looking likely after each passing week, and reinforcements are undoubtedly needed in January.
Nuno Espirito Santo to use Italian market at London Stadium
Lazio striker Valentin Castellanos has been on West Ham’s radar since the summer, and the Hammers have continued to be linked with him.
The Irons can’t go into the rest of the season with Callum Wilson as their only experienced number nine, but the players they bring in have to hit the ground running.

While the East London outfit can potentially find gems in the Italian market, the safest bet would be to sign someone who knows English football and the Premier League.
West Ham are fighting for survival right now, and it’s arguably going to need players with personality and quality to avoid a drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
