West Ham predicted XI vs Tottenham – Crysencio Summerville starts in four changes

West Ham are preparing to face Tottenham in their return to Premier League action on Saturday.

Graham Potter is set to welcome Thomas Frank’s side to the London Stadium on 13 September after the international break.

Last time out, West Ham secured a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest in a hugely surprising result at the City Ground.

Goals from Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Callum Wilson’s first strike for West Ham proved to be the difference as the Irons kick-started their campaign.

Now, Tottenham are set for an away trip to West Ham in what looks destined to be a highly competitive London Derby in E20.

Graham Potter to make four changes vs Tottenham

After such a positive result last time out, it would be brave for Potter to change things, but it could make sense after the late win in the East Midlands.

Securing a win was thanks in part to Mads Hermansen, who kept a clean sheet against Forest in a much-needed positive performance in between the sticks.

The Dane looks set to start again, but the backline ahead of him could feature one change with Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially set to come in for Kyle Walker-Peters.

This could be the only change in the backline, with Konstantinos Mavropanos, Max Kilman and Malick Diouf potentially in line to start again.

Ahead of this back four, Guido Rodriguez could come in for Tomas Soucek and form a midfield base with Mateus Fernandes, who could make his London Stadium debut against Spurs.

Crysencio Summerville could return to West Ham starting 11

Having scored three last time out, it makes sense that Potter would want all three goal scorers to remain in the starting line-up.

This could see Paqueta remain in the number 10 role, with Bowen coming in off the right flank, while having the licence to roam.

This pair could be joined by Summerville on the left flank, in place of James Ward-Prowse, after the Dutchman made a stellar impact off the bench against Forest last time out.

The same can be said of Wilson, who replaced Niclas Fullkrug as a substitute at the City Ground and could now come into the starting 11 in place of the Germany international.

This would give Potter’s side a much-needed attacking edge going into the derby clash in East London against a top Spurs outfit.
