Nuno Espirito Santo can kickstart West Ham season after fresh Burnley reveal
West Ham have every reason to believe that they can beat Burnley.
West Ham recorded their first win in seven matches when they beat Newcastle last time out, and Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking to build on that result.
West Ham are in genuine relegation danger, so the clash against Scott Parker’s side is a six-pointer, even at this early stage in the season.
A new stat reveal should give the Portuguese boss confidence heading into the London Stadium clash on 8 November.

West Ham have a great recent record vs Burnley
West Ham are the favourites to win the clash, and there is a reason for that, despite their dismal recent form.
The Hammers are unbeaten in their last six against Burnley, with three wins and three draws against the Clarets.
Nuno can surely take inspiration from that, and give his side a second successive victory to kickstart their campaign.

Burnley’s away record against West Ham is even worse
The Lancashire outfit have a terrible record when travelling to East London to face the Irons.
They have won just two of their last seven on the road against the E20 outfit, with a 3-0 win in March 2018 and a 1-0 victory in July 2020.
While the Hammers will be buoyed by that fact, they have their own issues, especially in front of goal, for Nuno to sort out.
- West Ham’s top league goalscorers are Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen, with three goals each this season
- Callum Wilson, Mateus Fernandes and Tomas Soucek are next on the list with one strike
- No one else has scored for the Hammers this season, as one of the goals against Newcastle was an own goal
They have had the third-lowest for the amount of touches in the opposition box and for expected goals (xG) created.
Nuno’s side have forged just 9.4 xG from their opening 10 matches, which suggests that they are not creating many clear-cut chances.
The win over the Magpies was huge, but it will mean nothing if they cannot follow it with the same outcome against a Clarets team that has an abysmal record against them recently.
