Jarrod Brown set to extend impressive West Ham record vs Bournemouth as phenomenal stats emerge
Jarrod Bowen could play a key role in West Ham’s Premier League match against Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Bowen has been phenomenal for West Ham, and it’s safe to say that they would have no hope of staying in the Premier League without their captain.
Although the 29-year-old initially struggled to find his feet under Nuno Espirito Santo, he has certainly been back to his best in 2026.
Bournemouth are looking to go six games unbeaten in the Premier League when they face West Ham, but Bowen could cause left-back Adrien Truffert some real problems.

Adrien Truffert won’t be able to handle Jarrod Bowen
As seen in the Sofascore graphic above, the winger has been a standout for the Hammers this season, with his eight Premier League goals proving to be crucial.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash, Bowen has scored three goals and registered one assist in eight career appearances against the Cherris.
What’s even better for the England international is that he could add to his tally by coming up against Truffert, who hasn’t been impressive from a defensive standpoint.
According to Sofascore, Bowen has completed 40 successful dribbles in the top flight this season, which is 96.6 per cent higher than all of the right wingers in the division.
| Stat | Bowen |
| Appearances | 8 |
| Goals | 3 |
| Assists | 1 |
| Yellow cards | 2 |
When the two sides met at the Vitality Stadium on 22 November, he completed four dribbles and gave Truffert a torrid time throughout the match.
The French defender has won just 51.5 per cent of his ground duels and 44.7 per cent of his aerial duels in the Premier League this campaign, which shows that Bowen should comfortably get the better of him at the London Stadium.
He has taken 2.36 shots and created 0.70 chances per 90 minutes, and it’s safe to say that he could be West Ham’s biggest threat.

Bournemouth have only kept two clean sheets away from home since the start of the season, which is another reason why Bowen should be licking his lips.
Bournemouth’s shaky defence may crumble against West Ham
The Cherries are on a good run of form, and they have undoubtedly been one of the most entertaining teams in the league.
However, while they can be scintillating in attack, they’re also incredibly fragile in defence.
Only West Ham, Burnley and Wolves have conceded more goals than their total of 45, and there should be plenty of gaps for the Hammers to exploit on the counter-attack.
Crysencio Summerville has been in even better form than Bowen, as he has found the back of the net six times in 2026.
Up against Bournemouth full-backs Truffert and Alex Jimenez, both of West Ham’s wingers should have a lot of joy out wide.
As the Hammers haven’t lost to Bournemouth in their last 10 top-flight meetings, all the signs point to Nuno’s side securing an incredibly valuable win.
