Crysencio Summerville axed as Nuno keeps faith in midfielder – West Ham predicted XI vs Aston Villa
West Ham want to continue their good run of form under Nuno Espirito Santo when they face Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Hammers will host Unai Emery’s side at the London Stadium in a Premier League battle that could be pivotal for both teams.
West Ham are still facing a threat of relegation, while Aston Villa remain hopeful of achieving a top-four finish in the league.
Nuno has been turning West Ham‘s fortunes around since he arrived at E20, but Villa will potentially be his biggest challenge yet.
Last time out in the Premier League, West Ham drew 1-1 with Brighton, as Crysencio Summerville was ineffective once again, leaving Nuno with an easy decision to make heading into this weekend’s game.

Nuno to axe Crysencio Summerville and play Guido Rodriguez again
West Ham will be up against it when they face Villa, as the latter come into the affair having won each of their last eight competitive matches.
Nuno has made bold decisions that have worked for the Hammers in the past, but not many can come easier than benching Summerville, who is yet to score this season.
Callum Wilson came off the bench to provide the assist for Jarrod Bowen’s equaliser against Brighton, and simply needs to start over Summerville in attack.
West Ham have great midfield options, but Nuno could controversially use Guido Rodriguez‘s experience once again versus the Villans, giving the Argentine the nod over Freddie Potts and Soungoutou Magassa.

Lucas Paqueta is poised to start once more and will look to continue his attempts to win over West Ham fans following another recent red card.
Nuno has to revert to the 3-4-2-1 formation vs Aston Villa
Versus Brighton, Nuno chose to play a 5-3-2 formation with Summerville and Bowen as his two starting strikers.
However, Wilson’s return means that Paqueta and Bowen can provide width on the wings, a key area that Nuno can utilise to hurt Aston Villa in a 3-4-2-1 setup.
It’s not going to be an easy task for the Hammers, but the key to victory is there, and that is to counterattack.
If Nuno goes with this lineup and formation, West Ham will have a side that has more pace than their opposition, and it could be the difference for three points come matchday.
