West Ham United transfer news: David Moyes sees boost in club’s pursuit of Djibril Sow
It appears as if Djibril Sow is keen to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer with West Ham holding a previous interest in the midfielder.
David Moyes’ side are in desperate need of a new midfielder after club captain Declan Rice made the switch to Arsenal and have been linked with multiple names in recent weeks.
As reported by the Mirror on 1 May, West Ham’s head of recruitment Rob Newman was believed to have watched Switzerland international Sow in Bundesliga action with a view to him eventually replacing Rice.

And the club have now been offered a boost as a transfer for the 26-year-old appears straightforward with the Frankfurt man keen on a move to the Premier League, according to Frankfurter Rundschau (19 July).
Not only is the midfielder open to a switch but the club are willing to let him go for a low fee. It is reported that they believe they can make between £35 and £40million through the sales of Sow, Jesper Lindstrom and Rafael Borre with a price tag of between £26 and £30million being set on just Lindstrom alone.
This means Frankfurt would clearly be willing to let Sow go for a fee of no more than £10million, which makes this move a no-brainer for David Sullivan and the board.

If the interest is still there in Sow then this is a deal which should be easy to get across the line.
Still just 26 years of age and with plenty of international and European experience under his belt, there will be few players on the market who offer better value.
This is a move worth keeping an eye on and could be a deal the club regret missing out on if they don’t pursue it.
