West Ham United need to aim higher than Josh Brownhill
West Ham United may have been knocked out of Europe on Thursday (5 May) but they need to keep their ambition high nonetheless.
But it looks like David Moyes is already lowering his expectations in the transfer market with the latest player to be linked with a move to the London Stadium next season.
Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill is the latest player to be rumoured by 90min despite playing second fiddle behind Ashley Westwood before he got injured against the Hammers in April.

He isn’t necessarily a regular in a side that is really struggling to battle relegation so why Moyes has decided that he is the solution to West Ham’s problems is beyond us.
Declan Rice looks set to stay at the London Stadium now with no suitable alternative able to offer Champions League football to the 23-year-old in England.
Tomas Soucek has been as solid as a rock alongside him in the midfield pairing for the best part of two seasons now as well so there is no reason why that is the area that needs strengthening.
The only issue the boss has is depth with Alex Kral heading back to his parent club at the end of the season and Mark Noble hanging up his boots too.

That does leave them short but Conor Coventry should be able to step up and provide cover.
One addition would be handy to add that little bit of protection and cover and if Brownhill is going to be cheap in both transfer fee and wage, then it could be acceptable.
But if he is due to arrive as a challenger for Rice, then Moyes has fully lost his marbles and we could do with a change in mentality.
In other West Ham news, the Eintracht Frankfurt ball boy who Moyes kicked a ball at has responded to the incident.
