West Ham United must bat off Jarrod Bowen bids as Manchester City remain keen
Jarrod Bowen’s indifferent form for West Ham United this season perhaps should have seen interest in him drop away ahead of the January window.
But that might not be the case after all as Spanish media outlet MARCA report that Manchester City still have the 25-year-old on their radar ahead of the winter transfer market opening.
The report also reads no less than eight names as being on David Moyes’ radar although if any come in is a whole different argument with money set to be tight at the London Stadium this month.

Pep Guardiola might not be willing to pay the astronomical figures that were being banded about in the summer after Bowen’s fabulous season with the Hammers but extra English talent always helps the registration process in the Champions League.
However, he will not be spending any kind of significant fee in January when his squad is more than capable of embarrassing any team on the planet.
West Ham should also refuse any offer that comes in anyway because they will need Bowen’s star quality, even if he is yet to find it this season, to keep themselves in the Premier League in the future.

It would have to be a truly ridiculous offer to make West Ham sell at this stage in the season unless Moyes is desperate to make more additions to the side and is willing to sacrifice the England international to make it happen.
That is a highly unlikely scenario and one that would set off all kinds of alarms for the board and probably spell the end of the Scotsman at the London Stadium.
If City want to, they can make an offer the Irons simply cannot refuse for any of their players and they could easily do so in the summer if they want Declan Rice.
But until that happens, it has to be a firm no at all costs.
