West Ham United: Lucas Paqueta keeping pace with Bayern Munich star Harry Kane as European statistic emerges
West Ham United returned to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday (12 November).
The Hammers won the Premier League encounter at the London Stadium 3-2, sending them back into the top 10 of the table.
And key to the win was midfield ace Lucas Paqueta, with the Brazilian star scoring the first goal of the game after just three minutes.

The 26-year-old has been chipping in with some important goals in claret and blue this season, with Paqueta scoring five goals in all competitions so far.
But it isn’t just his goalscoring ability that has caught the eye at the London Stadium, with the player’s creativity also appreciated by his teammates and fans of the club.
In fact, he is now only one of two players to have made seven-plus accurate through balls in Europe’s top five leagues this season, joined by former Tottenham striker Harry Kane, as per WhoScored (13 November).
Both Paqueta and the Bayern Munich star have enjoyed superb seasons so far, and are central to how their respective clubs want to play.
After a very strong start, David Moyes’s side lost a bit of momentum with some disappointing defeats, with supporters now keen for that miserable run to have been put to bed with the win against Forest.
There is, however, now an international break, which may upset that momentum. Struggling Burnley await the Hammers at Turf Moor in the first match back later this month.
Paqueta and his teammates then face a trip to Backa Topola in the Europa League group stages, with the Brazilian absolutely flying in that competition, with three goals in his last three matches.
In other West Ham news, Hammers scouts have watched three European players in action, with their clubs now braced for bids.
