West Ham United door opened as CEO reveals Gustav Isaksen agreement
West Ham United aren’t desperate for new signings in January but they could go and make one after what FC Midtjylland’s CEO said.
The Danish club currently possess 21-year-old midfielder Gustav Isaksen who has been impressing in both the Danish Super League and the Europa League this season.
West Ham have been keeping a close eye on the youngster and are very much interested in signing him should the opportunity arise in the next 12 months.

Midtjylland CEO Claus Steinlein revealed to the public that a verbal agreement has been struck between the club and the player’s entourage that could allow him to leave in the summer.
“We have made an agreement with Gustav, his family and agent that he will stay until the summer, and then we will sell,” he said, as quoted by Tipsbladet. “However, the offer may become too large, and I fear that it will.
“I was made aware a week ago that the biggest sale in the history of the Super League is 20 million euros (£17.5million), and if he has to leave, we have to beat it.”

With seven goals already this season from the right-hand side of the midfield, Isaksen is already emerging as one of Denmark’s hottest young talents and the price to sign him is not astronomically over the top.
Jarrod Bowen could easily leave in the coming years if his epic form from last season is replicated further at the London Stadium so a replacement has to be found.
David Moyes could do with a year or two on the training ground with the Denmark Under-21 international to sand off some rough edges before he gets into the first team so January, or this summer, could be the perfect time to make a move.
