West Ham signing versatile winger Tete will bring new dimension to attack
West Ham are coming off the back of an impressive campaign and they have already been linked with a number of players in the ongoing transfer window.
One of them is Shakhtar Donetsk’s young winger Tete, according to the le10sport report published on May 16.
The 22-year-old spent the last season on loan with French club Lyon and is unlikely to return to his parent club because of the security situation in Ukraine.

On the other hand, the Hammers are in the market to sign a winger as Andriy Yarmolenko is set to leave the club once his contract will come to an end on June 30 and the club are open to listening to offers for Saïd Benrahma
Versatile Winger
In the recently concluded season with Olympique Lyon, the Brazil U23 international scored two goals and provided five assists in just nine appearances.
Despite having few appearances, the youngster started 78% of his games and contributed to 27% of the overall goals for the club in the league [Transfermarkt].
Even though he usually plays as a right winger, Tete can occupy both sides of the wing and has also played as a second striker for Lyon U23s.

Therefore, we can expect to see him play behind Michael Antonio if the London-based club moves in for him.
If the Hammers get this signing over the line, Tete would be part of a huge group of young players that Moyes has brought to the club.
He is going to be part of a group that has young and hungry players like Ben Johnson, Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice.
Considering he plays on the right, Tete can also give competition to the likes of Bowen. West Ham will be playing European football again next season, so the addition of the Lyon winger can be integral to their squad depth.
