West Ham player ratings vs Crystal Palace: 2/10 horrendous, Crysencio Summerville rare positive
West Ham fell to another horrific defeat against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
After West Ham fell to a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham last time out, expectations were low at the London Stadium.
West Ham fans lined the streets in protest against the hierarchy before the game, and their frustrations were again on show as they booed the players off at half-time.
The Hammers conceded their seventh goal from a corner of the season when Jean-Phillipe Mateta headed home, as they lost 2-1.
Plenty of blame for the defeat can be placed on the shoulders of Max Kilman, as West Ham Zone rates each player’s performance out of 10.

Crysencio Summerville the only positive for West Ham
Crysencio Summerville showed his quality last weekend against Tottenham and again stood out against Palace.
The winger had been missed in the Hammers’ first few Premier League games before he returned and got an assist in the 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
Summerville was the only creative outlet for the Hammers and combined well with El Hadji Mallick Diouf down the left-hand side.
The goal gave the Hammers a lift and gave the Dutchman confidence as he completed two dribbles and tracked back defensively.
His attacking input helped the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta get back to their best after a poor season.
It will be interesting to see how he fares should the Hammers choose to change their manager.

James Ward-Prowse non-existent vs Crystal Palace
James Ward-Prowse has come under pressure from West Ham fans for his laziness since the start of the season.
The 30-year-old was poor again against Palace, with the visitors able to quickly transition between defence and attack against the Hammers.
The midfielder failed to help stop the cross, which led to Crystal Palace’s second goal.
It was a surprise that Ward-Prowse wasn’t offloaded by the Hammers in the summer, and it is unlikely that he will be in any new manager’s plans.
