West Ham moves for attacking trio makes David Moyes stance on Armstrong Oko-Flex clear

West Ham United eyeing moves for Dwight McNeil, Jesse Lingard and Adnan Januzaj surely means that Armstrong Oko-Flex’s London Stadium days are numbered.

Sky Sports revealed (20 July) that the Irons along with Crystal Palace have approached Burnely about McNeil, with the Hammers also interested in free agent Januzaj according to AS on 19 July.

Furthermore, the Hammers are also battling Nottingham Forest to bring Lingard back to the London Stadium.

The potential influx of attacking talent at the London Stadium will surely push Oko-Flex further down the pecking order.

Sky Sports reported (22 June, 10:00 pm) that the 20-year-old is attracting plenty of interest from clubs from Europe and the Championship.

With a year left on Oko-Flex’s contract, it is crucial that David Moyes makes a decision on his future this summer.

The Hammers either tie the winger down to a new contract and send him out on loan this summer or move him on permanently as a vital stage of his career.

The 20-year-old is at an age where he has to feature week-in and week-out in order to continue his progression and stand a chance of playing Premier League football in the future.

At present Oko-Flex has spent far too much time in youth systems such as Celtic and Arsenal and is yet to experience a proper loan spell to a professional club.

It would seem foolish for West Ham to let the attacker leave without knowing what he can do in first-team football.

Offering him a new deal, a loan spell and then potentially first-team minutes at the London Stadium should be the route for the Hammers to go down.
