Mohammed Kudus sale to ‘fund West Ham rebuild’ as lucrative offer made
West Ham are said to have rejected a verbal offer from Saudi side Al Nassr after a “high package” deal was put on the table for Mohammed Kudus but that stance may need a re-think in the summer.
Hammers fans can take optimism from the fact that Kudus appears to be staying at the London Stadium this season [Sam C] but considerations must be taken into the summer with the potential financial benefit in mind.
Kudus, while he has shown quality throughout the season, has registered just four contributions in the league and for the value on his head, West Ham need more.
With the often crazy money thrown around by Saudi clubs, West Ham could bank an astronomical fee if they were to open the door for an exit in the summer and it must be considered.
West Ham could benefit from Mohammed Kudus sale
While it makes no sense to entertain any offers this winter, it certainly makes more sense to do so in the summer and if the Irons were to do that, they could potentially upgrade their attacking lineup while having funds remaining to strengthen elsewhere.
Kudus is an exciting player to watch and certainly one who has an abundance of quality, but he has failed to turn that ability into meaningful contributions.
While it’s hard to put a finger on the exact fee West Ham could receive for his sale, it could certainly get close to nine figures.

This isn’t to say the Hammers should actively look to offload him, but merely consider the possibility and the domino effect that it could have in the future.
However, for now, Kudus will likely remain an Irons player and still has a role to play in the revival under Graham Potter.
In other West Ham news, the Irons made a huge offer to sign this French league forward.
