West Ham could prove Simon Jordan wrong with new stadium as £3bn plans emerge
West Ham fans are in desperate need of a new stadium.
The London Stadium isn’t fit for purpose, according to many supporters, prompting West Ham fans to protest in recent weeks and months.
Supporters boycotted as West Ham lost 2-0 to Brentford on Monday, as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side failed to land a glove on the Bees.
Nuno came under pressure from West Ham fans over his side’s performance in a type of outing that has become all too common at the Olympic Park.
A move away from E20 could prove the only way to turn the tide, with that now seemingly a possibility despite what Simon Jordan thinks.

What did Simon Jordan say about a new West Ham stadium?
Jordan got into a heated debate with a West Ham supporter who believed a new ground is the way forward for the Irons.
The former Crystal Palace owner was left fuming by the suggestion, mixing anger and sarcastic laughter to convey his feelings.
Speaking live via talkSPORT on 15 October, the fan was hopeful of a new owner coming in and taking the Hammers away from the London Stadium.
It is fair to say that Jordan didn’t agree.
He said: “You’re deluded, no one is going to come in and buy your football and build you a new stadium. Grow up.
“No one’s going to do it, that’s silly, isn’t it. You can’t do it in London; it’s not easy to build new stadiums. Think about it, Spurs have just told you that they couldn’t build their stadium again for less than £2.5billion.
“Are you seriously expecting someone to come in, get rid of someone you don’t like and then go and build you a stadium for £3bn, pack it in.“
Ironically, Jordan could soon be proved wrong, if developments away from West Ham are anything to go by.

West Ham could follow in Birmingham City footsteps
The talkSPORT host may believe it is a fairytale to see a new owner come in and splash the cash to improve a football club drastically.
That is exactly what has gone down at Birmingham City, with Tom Wagner and Tom Brady coming in to totally turn the tide at St Andrews.
Despite being relegated in their first campaign at the helm, the Americans have spent well and have carried the Blues out of League One with the hope of being promotion contenders in the Championship.
This isn’t enough for Wagner and Co. as the 56-year-old continues to push ahead with plans for a new stadium and sports quarter in Birmingham.
On 22 October, the second-tier outfit unveiled the latest steps in their plans to build a new arena, which could cost £3billion.
A 62,000 seater ground would be the key asset in a “sporting centre of excellence” for the second city as they look to challenge the elite of English football.
If this isn’t proof for West Ham fans that there are owners out there who can show passion and put their money where their mouths are, then nothing will be.
Jordan could be right about the London Stadium, but there is genuine light at the end of the tunnel for the East London club in their Olympic nightmare.
